On the site of the College there was an abundance of primeval woods, and 1,000 trees need transplanting. A contract is made with Jiayi University, for the Forestry Department to undertake the transplanting project. About 400 trees can be planted on the campus in the future to enhance the environment, and the remaining can be moved to other parts of the DDM World Center for Buddhist Education
