紅色牧人的綠色旅程

作者(譯名李曼)是一個美國Montana州第四代牧牛戶，在一次脊椎腫瘤手術後突然發現他過去因為無知和貪婪所犯的錯誤，毅然結束了自家的農場，投入健康農業的革命事業，並由這個革命運動中變成了一個素食者。
李曼在運動的過程中，除了直接挑戰美國勢力龐大的酪農肉類食品業，甚至於上電視(Oprah Winfrey Show，中譯歐普拉溫菲脫口秀)首先揭露狂牛症將襲及美國的消息。為了他公開的言辭，幾家肉品公司和化肥農藥製造商都上法院告他誹謗食物罪(美國有誹謗食物法，您猜猜是誰要訂的?)。最後他都全身而退，獲判無罪。
